Technical difficulties ...

Soooo, that didn't work very well now, did it?  😒

I should be able to add a photo straight from my iPad gallery, but Google doesn't like that. 😝

I should be able to upload to Flickr and pull the URL from there, but that doesn't seem to have worked either. 😨

Instead, Google seems to think I should upload my photos through picasaweb, another system they own (along with Blogspot). 😡

Am re-thinking my relationship with Google and Blogspot. 😕

Blogging from an iPad

So I finally downloaded an app that's supposed to make blogging simpler from my iPad. The app is called BlogTouch. Yesterday's text only post seemed to work fine, so today I'll try adding a snap or two.

Here is a recent Zentangle tile:

String Thing #114

I did this in response to the "It's a String Thing #114" challenge on CZT Adele Bruno's
website. It was definitely a challenge - she gives you a string and the tangles to use, and you see what you can make from the combination. What's really interesting is when she posts all the tiles she receives. Each tile is completely different! Also, Adele adds notes about each submission, highlighting aspects of each. For example, she noted that mine used two variations of each of the three tangles included. Honestly, I don't even think I was truly aware of that myself when I was creating it! I am definitely planning on tackling more of these challenges!

Well, I think that's all for now. Hope you're all having a great day!

Promises, promises

Okay, so last October, I promised there would be more photos, more blogging about Spinzilla, and just plain more posting. We're all going to have to settle for "at least it's not seven years between posts this time."

Another Spinzilla has come and gone. This time I nearly broke the 1,000 yard mark (I need to go back and check my yardage from last year - but I think it was also in the high 900s). Had I not been traveling, I KNOW I would have gotten that extra 20 or so yards. Guess I'll just have to hope for next year to be more accommodating.
